Education is the key element to success of any of the communities we are involved with. We believe that schooling is important; but that is not what we are talking about in this case. We want to be a part of educating communities on how to be self sustaining when it comes to meeting the basic needs of food, water, and shelter. The people need to understand how to practice sustainable farming techniques, secure clean water and maintain current clean water supplies, and finally building and maintaining homes and other critical structures. When communities understand how to manage themselves consistently and independently financial means go further and overall needs are reduced. This type of education allows communities to thrive.
