Christmas Orphanage Visits

Christmas is a magical time of year. We are so blessed to be able to enjoy time together with our family and friends. In an orphanage in Malawi Christmas looks much different. We know there are many challenges faced by the children and orphanage directors but we are hopeful that our donations could be a bright spot during this holiday season.

We were able to send money for an additional 2 orphanages a few weeks ago to supply them with food for the next month or so and give them some special Christmas treats. Our donation to Afriana Orphanage also allowed for us to continue to supply local families with seed, fertilizer and urea to get their gardens planted for the new year.

Father of Daniel. His Wife died during childbirth of the twins. One of the twins all passed away after 1 month. the other twin is living at the orphanage. This father is currently caring for 3 older children at home. Daniel will hopefully return home once he is old enough and no longer requiring formula.

To all our donors. We are so thankful for your continued support to Food+Water+Shelter. We couldn’t feed all these beautiful children and families with out you.
